Not even in Thailand there is a fixed rule up to which number of amulets you can still call it “low-volume-production”, it depends on how famous monk or temple is, or on the amount of worshippers or visitors they have. A Luang Pho Khun series can still be considered “low-volume” in a quantity of 5,000 pieces. Kruba Kritsana and Luang Pho Wachara even issue micro-series of 1, 3, 5 ... to 99 pieces, whose prices are already at the temple horrendous, even for European value. Amulet series which are provided with a continuous number are especially valuable. A series is considered as “low-value-production” in a number between 99 up to 9999 amulets. |
