One with us less well known Thai amulet kind is the amulet ring which is not to be recognised immediately as an amulet and is an eyecather as an unusual piece of jewellery.
Amulet rings are very rare and are produced only in small numbers of pieces, which is why they are hardly to be seen. Most amulet rings are of older date, because these days only few monks create amulet rings.
All amulet rings are from famous Thai monks and are consecrated. It concerns, in this case, a holy object which was not produced for commercial purposes, but was created by monks.
