Meed Paga Ruun Metha Khumpai Traimas 2550 Thai Amulet from the venerable Luang Pho Pian Akathammo, abbot of Wat Gernkathin, Amphoe Baan Mi, Changwat Lopburi, Thailand, from the year BE 2550 (2007).
The meed paga was created by Luang Pho Pian in the year BE 2550 (2007) and consecrated them during 3 months twice daily (in the morning and in the evening).
It is the unobtrusive variation of the classical Meed Moh (protective amulet). It is preferred by modern, mostly younger Thais as for example managers, doctors, lawyers, policemen, soldiers and other women and men who do not renounce the protection of a Meed Moh, but don`t want to carry a "old-fashioned" Meed Moh with themself.
At first view it looks like a normal modern fountain pen. When the fountain pen is unscrewed, the Meed Paagaa is visible. The left side of the blade are marked with the inscription Metha Khumpai and the right side Shows the Yahn of Luang Pho Pian and Pali protective formulae.
The knife is not sharpened and neither is thought or suited for the reaping nor for the other activities for which one needs a knife! The Meed Paagaa is approx. 13 cm long in the closed state and has at the cap a thickness of approx. 1.0 cm, as well as a weight of approx. 15 grammes.
The amulet protects its wearer in attacks by animal and person, as well as against accidents, misfortune, nightmare and illness. It protects its owner against bad ghosts, demons, witchcraft, magic, Voodoo, Visha Khameen, imprecations, negative energy and other magic methods which are directed against its wearer.
One carries it along in the breast pocket or lays it on the altar or on a central place in the flat or in the house. One can also carry it along in the glove compartment, act suitcase or the handbag, provided that one practices a profession by which one is exposed constantly to negative energy or dangers.
