Luang Pho Samrit Kamphiro (Phra Khru Kanchana Kitchathorn) was one of the greatest monks of the province of Kanchanaburi and founder of the famous Wat Thamfad with his Leklai cave. During many years he learnt the magic arts from the great masters in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. His Leklai amulets belong to the most effective protective amulets of Thailand. Luang Pho Samrit developed a meditation method, while he spoke with the ghosts in old Khmer ruins. He gave them peace of mind and helped them thus to go into the light. Also those of Luang Pho Watchara, his long-standing pupil and successor, practiced candle ceremony was developed by the venerable Luang Pho Samrit.
