Salika Khu Phim Charoen Ngern Charoen Thong Phim Lek of the venerable Kruba Kritsana Intawano, abbot of Wat Pah Mahawan, Ban Thai Samakee, Tambon Thai Samakee, Amphoe Wang Nam Khiau, Changwat Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), Isaan, North-east Thailand. The venerable Kruba Kritsana created the amulet in a small series of only 300 pieces.
His amulets belong to the nicest and worldwide most popular of Thailand. Collectors pay up to several thousand US dollars for a small series amulet. Kruba Kritsanas amulets belong by far to the most expensive amulets which one can buy in a temple (apart from gold and silver series). This is due to the fact that he uses real precious stones of good quality. Unfortunately, the big demand for Kruba Kritsana amulets has also led to a big number of fakes. There are more fakes than originals of Kruba Kritsana amulets The relation of original amulet to fakes not seldom amounts 1:1000 which signifies, on every original there are 1.000 fakes.
Kruba Kritsana created the Amulet during the Wan Wai Khru 2010 from a sacred powder. The powder consists of 108 holy ingredients which only the venerable Kruba Kritsana knows. On the front the amulet shows the lucky birds Salika Khuu, between the birds are two gemstones.
The Amulett was from the venerable Luang Phi Somwang with colors of Faber Castell and Rotring painted. The Amulett was after the consecration on Saturday the 20.03.2010 published.
On the back are nine precious sunk. In addition, the signature "Charoen Ngern Charoen Thong Ruai Ruai Ruai Wat Pah Mahawan", as well as the signature of Kruba Kritsana to see. The amulet is in a silvery metal case, height approx. 4.4 cms, wide approx. 2.7 cms, thickens approx. 1.4 cms and weight approx. 17 grams.
Kruba Kritsana was born on 01.08.1954 (B.E. 2497) as ninth of 10 children. Already in youth he followed the venerable Kruba Pu, a forest monk (Tudong), as a novice through the woods of Cambodia and Laos.
At the age of 25 years, on 27.10.1979 (B.E. 2522) Kruba Kritsana ordained and received the monk name Intawano. Till 1989 (B.E.2532) he studied the holy texts and practiced meditation in the woods of the Isan. He lived in a cave above the Moonbon Dam in Khonburi.
In 1992 (B.E.2535) the inhabitants of Wang Nam Khiau asked the venerable Phra Kruba Kritsana for building a temple municipality.
Kruba Kritsana met this wish and built the Wat Pah Mahawan in Wang Nam Khiau. On the temple area a pond was also dug up. The first amulets of Kruba Kritsana were personally produced from the holy earth of the pond.
