Chao Khun Nor was private secretary of His Majesty King Vajiravudh Rama VI of Siam. After his Majesty died Chao Khun Nor ordained out of love and loyalty to his king, one day before his cremation at Wat Thepsirin, Bangkok. Chao Khun Nor, who fell ill with cancer, was a monk of highest perfection. He observed the 227 monastic rules with precision. Only about one year before he passed away, he created his own amulets. These are among the most coveted collectors’ pieces in Thailand. For Buddhists they are a gem and for people who suffer of cancer or people who are seriously ill, they are often the last hope. Chao Khun Nor is regarded as the patron saint of cancer sufferers and people who are critically ill of any sickness. His thai amulets have brought relief and improvement in the disease process in many cases, not only in Thailand but also for German customers.
