In the broadest sense Phra Rians are coin-shaped amulets, which are minted with a few exceptions. It is by far the most common form of Thai amulets. Phra Rians are created in different alloying, the most are common ones are Thong Daeng (Copper alloying) Thong Lueang (brass alloying) Nuea Nawa (Silver Alloying) - almost black, Ngoen (silver - only for small batches) and Thong Kam (real gold - extremely rare). Phra Rian in Thailand cost between one Euro and several thousand Euros.
