Luang Pho Sothon Nuea Loha Thai Buddha Statue Consecrated

Phra Bucha Luang Pho Sothon (Luang Pho Phra Phutta Sothon) Nuea Loha Thai Buddha statue from the venerable Luang Phi Kaweerat (Phra Khru Samut Kaweerat), abbot of Wat Satthayalai, Ban Had Nang Rum, Tambon Plutaluang, Amphoe Sattahip, Changwat Chonburi, Thailand from the 18/2/2550 (2007).

The Buddha's statues were poured from holy metals in Thailand by order of the Wat Phra Phutta Sothon, for the purpose of the financing of the Wat Luang Pho Sothon Germany.

Phra Khru Opas Phanya Woorakhun (abbot of Wat Phra Phutta Sothon) consecrated the statues in a big ceremony, together with many other monks, in front of the Luang Pho Sothon in the Ubosoth of Wat Sothon Wararam Wora Viharn (colloquially called Wat Phra Phutta Sothon) in Chachoengsao.

Because Luang Phi Kaweerat became abbot of the Wat Satthayalai in Chonburi and thereby had to return to Thailand,  the construction of Wat Luang Pho Sothon Germany did not occur.

Therefore, Luang Phi Kaweerat instructed us with the mediation of the Buddha statues.

The Buddha's statue is a "miniature" of the original Luang Pho Sothon which is standing in the Ubosoth of Wat Sothon Wararam Wora Viharn, Amphoe Mueang, Changwat Chachoengsao, Thailand. On the front the royal emblem of his majesty king Bhumibol of Thailand which may be used only with previous permission of his majesty, is shown.

At the back there is the official Yahn of Wat Sothon Wararam Wora Viharn, which only original Luang Pho Sothon-statues and - amulets may show. Under the Yahn there is the stroke "Wat Luang Pho Sothon Germany".

The statue is approx. 19 cm high, approx. 16 cm wide, approx. 7.5 cm deep and approx. 800 grammes.

Luang Pho Sothon gives health, luck and prosperity to his owner. He protects his owner and his roommates, as well as his house / his flat from natural dangers as for example storm, earthquake, flood, fire, burglary and raid as well as other disasters

With the acquisition of the Phra Bucha (this Buddha's statue) you acquire at the same time Tambun (religious salaries), because we offer the Buddha's statue as a mediator in the name of and by order of the venerable Luang Phi Kaweerat. The acquisition is to be seen as Dhana (donation) to families in need of help.

Luang Phi Kaweerat ordained in 1985 in the Wat Thamfad, Tambon Kao Noi, Amphoer Thamuang, Changwat Kanchanaburi, Thailand, to the monk. His teacher was the venerable Luang Pho Samlit, in his lifetime abbot and builder of Wat Thamfad, who belonged to the greatest monks of the province of Kanchanaburi. Then later he also instructed his friend, the venerable Luang Pho Watchara, the today's abbot of Wat Thamfad whom he also brought first sometimes to Germany.
