Gilt Buddha Thai-Amulet from The Year 1988 King Bhumibol

Gilt Thai Buddha amulet Phra Prathan Nai Phra Ubosoth from the venerable Phra Ratcha Molee Promma Sappanyo, abbot of Wat Chakrawat Ratchawat Woramahawihan (also Wat Sam Pluem), Tambon Chakkrawat, Khet Samphan Thawong, Changwat Bangkok, Thailand, from the year B.E. 2531 (1988).
The amulet was published on the occasion of the visit of his Majesty king Bhumibol Rama 9 of Thailand and the consecration of the Choo Fha donated by his majesty for the Phra Viharn.
The amulet is of extremely high quality what is to recognise by the excellent gilding, as well as by the weight which is very high with approx. 9 grammes for an amulet of this size.
It shows the Phra Prathan on the front, the main Buddha, who sits enthroned in the Ubosoth of Wat Chakrawat, with the stroke "Phra Prathan Nai Phra Ubosoth". The back shows the royal emblem of his Majesty king Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama 9 of Thailand which may only be used for amulets donated by the king or for which his majesty has given an approval. The stroke on the edge is: "Sadej Phra Ratcha Dam Noen Throng Yook Choo Fha Phra Viharn Wat Chakrawat Ratchawat BE 2531".
The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 4.4 cm, width approx. 2.6 cm, thickness approx. 1.2 cm and weight approx. 15 grammes. The amulet is delivered together with the original temple amulet box which is marked as follows: "Rian Phra Prathan Sadej Throng Yook Choo Fah Phra Viharn Wat Chakrawat Ratchawat 2531".
