The number of alloys of which Thai Buddha amulets poured in place and will be embossed is quite large. The most commonly used alloys are: Nuea Thong Daeng (copper alloy), Nuea Nawa (alloy with silver), Nuea Ngoen (also Ngern) (silver), Nuea Thong Dschub (Gold plated) and Nuea Thong Kam (gold). There are a large number of special alloys such as Nuea Nawa Khoom phaan pii boran and Nuea Nawa piew Fai.
