Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Thai Amulet Limited Edition B.E. 2546
Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Thai Amulet Limited Edition B.E. 2546

Original Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Ruun Patiharn Phim Yai Nuea Thong Daeng from the Wat Rakhang Kositaram Woramahaviharn (briefly Wat Rakhang), Thonburi, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok, Thailand, from the year BE 2546 (2003).

Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang amulets belong worldwide to the most popular Buddha amulets. Rare small series do often reach a value between several hundred and several thousand euros. If the amulet was created by the venerable Phra Phuttajahn Too Promma Rangsi (briefly Luang Pho Toh) himself, it can reach the value of a single-family house in Germany.

The amulet was poured from old holy metals (Loo Boran) and copper (Thong Daeng) in the Wat Rakhang in a small series of only 9.999 amulets and was consecrated by the most famous monks of Thailand.

The amulet shows on the front the Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang which is created in this form already for over 120 years by the Wat Rakhang.

The asymmetrical form and the absence of right corners are typical signs for a temple downpour. Also the slight "scar formation" is typical for such amulets and gives to every amulet individual signs which exist only with this single amulet and with none else.

The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 4.7 cm, width approx. 2.9 cm, thickness approx. 1.6 cm and weight approx. 43 grammes. The amulet is delivered together with the original temple amulet box which is marked as follows: "Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Phim Yai (Loo Boran) Ruun Patiharn 2546".

The amulet gives to its wearer luck and protects him against illness, accident and misfortune.
