In the broadest sense Phra Rians are coin-shaped amulets, which are minted with a few exceptions. It is by far the most common form of Thai amulets. Phra Rians are created in different alloying, the most are common ones are Thong Daeng (Copper alloying) Thong Lueang (brass alloying) Nuea Nawa (Silver Alloying) - almost black, Ngoen (silver - only for small batches) and Thong Kam (real gold - extremely rare). Phra Rian in Thailand cost between one Euro and several thousand Euros. |

Luang Pho Koon is one of the few still living "quite great" monks of Thailand. He belongs worldwide to the most famous monks of the kingdom of Thailand. There is probably no one in Thailand who doesn`t know Luang Pho Koon.

The Amulet was consecrated from 14 monks who belonged to the greatest monks of Thailand.
The amulet was consecrated in two of the holiest temples of Thailand, Wat Phra Kaew (king's temple beside the old palace in Bangkok) and Wat Bowon (seat of the Supreme patriarch of Thailand).

Phra Rian Ruun Luang Pho Ie Phra Uppatcha Nuea Thong Daeng Thai amulet from the Wat Sattahip, Tambon Sattahip, Amphoe Sattahip, Changwat Chonburi, Thailand of the 2/8/2521 (1978).
The amulet was edited on the occasion of the pouring of a new Phra Prathan (main Buddha for the Ubosoth), a Phra Phutta Chinarat Budddha. The amulet was consecrated under the chairmanship of his holiness, the 18th Supreme patriarch of Thailand (in office 1973 till 1988), Phra Somdej Sangkarat Somdej Phra Ariyavangsagatanyana, by 108 monks.

The venerable Luang Pho Bubpa created the amulet from old holy metals on the occasion of the laying of the foundation stone (Fang Luug Nimit) for the Wat Thammakhan.

The venerable Phra Khru Anurak created the amulet on the occasion of the downpour of the Phra Prathan (main Buddha) of the Wat Mai Chonglom which also shows the Phra Phutta Chinarat.
