Rarity - Phra Pidta Nang Yoong Nuea Mekkaphat Thai amulet from the venerable Luang Phu Palad Thongdee, Wat Klang Woraviharn, Tambon Paknam, Amphoe Mueang, Changwat Samut Prakan, Siam from the year BE 2462 (1919).
Luang Phu Palad created the amulet from a precious Mekkaphat alloy which today almost is buried in oblivion. It concerns an alloy of copper, iron, Leklai and lead as well as other confidential metal additions which only the concerning monk knows. This alloy receives after polishing a reflecting shine, so that one can mistake them easily for cut and polished Leklai. This shine exists, after short polishing with a soft cloth, even after more than 90 years.
With the amulet it concerns a standing Phra Pidta which keeps the eyes closed with both hands. The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 4.6 cm, width approx. 2.5 cm, thickness approx. 1.6 cm and weight approx. 33 grammes.
The amulet protects its wearer from danger, accident, misfortune and illness as well as in attacks by person or animal. Besides it protects him against bad ghosts, witchcraft, Voodoo, black magic, Visha Khameen, Visha Lao, imprecations and other negative methods which are directed against him. It gives luck in financial and business matters.
