Phra Pidta Gob Loo Boran Thai Amulet from the venerable Luang Pho Sangaa Anupang Palo, in his lifetime abbot of Wat Ban Mhoo, Tambon Klong Takhot, Amphoe Photharam, Changwat Ratchaburi, Isaan, north-east Thailand.
Luang Pho Sangaa was one of the greatest masters of the Visha (Buddhist magic) of the province of Ratchaburi and belonged to the greatest Sak Yahn (holy tattoos) Masters of the country.
He was Luug Siit (pupil) of the venerable Luang Pho Ngern, abbot of Wat Don Yai Hom, Luang Pho Chaem, abbot of Wat Takong, Luang Pho Dee, abbot of Wat Ban Yang and of Luang Pho Blian, abbot of Wat Tai. Each of his teachers was or is known for his especially effective amulets and / or Sak Yahns.
Luang Pho Sangaa created the amulet from old holy metals (old amulets, statues and Meed Mohs). The Phra Pidta is a frog which sits on his hands, a very unusual and unique representation of a Phra Pidta. The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 3.8 cm, width approx. 2.3 cm, thickness approx. 2.0 cm and weight approx. 27 grammes.
The amulet gives to its owner health, luck, success and prosperity. It protects him from illness, danger, accident and misfortune.
Luang Pho Sangaa was born on Sunday, the 3/11/2459 (1916), in the Tambon Klongkhot, Amphoe Photharam, Changwat Ratchaburi, Siam as the only child of Mr. Kiam and Mrs. Mao Wessuwan.
At the age of 22 years he ordained in the Wat Ban Mhoo, Tambon Klong Takhot, Amphoe Photharam, Changwat Ratchaburi, Siam to the monk.
Luang Pho Sangaa was for many decades in Thailand and Cambodia as Phra Thudong (wanderings monk) on wanderings. Besides, he learnt the high art of the tattooing of holy Yahnts (Sak Yahn), the production of highly efficient amulets and the high art of the mysterious magic arts of the Phra Khameen. His teachers belong to the greatest and most famous monks of Thailand.
Luang Pho Sangaa passed away at the age of 88 years and 18 days on the 3/29/2547 (2004).
