Rian Phra Pikanet (Ganesha) Luang Pho Pian Nuea Chup Ngern Maikron (Micron silvered) Thai amulet from the venerable Luang Pho Pian Akkathammo, abbot of Wat Gernkathin, Amphoe Baan Mi, Changwat Lopburi, Thailand, from the 12/30/2550 (2007).
The amulet was consecrated once more by the venerable Luang Pho Pian in the 7/30/2010 at 16:46 o'clock local time and was handed personally.
The amulet was created by the venerable Luang Pho Pian for the financing of a 29-metre-high standing Buddha statue, the Phra Pang Thawai Net.
The front shows the venerable Luang Pho Pian with the stroke "Wat Gernkathin Amphoer Ban Mhi Changwat Lopburi Luang Pho Pian Akkathammo". The amulet was consecrated by the venerable Luang Pho Pian and 28 other monks in the 12/30/2550 in Wat Gernkathin.
The back shows Phra Pikkanet (Ganesha) with Pali formulae for health, luck and prosperity, as well as protection against illness, misfortune and accidents.
The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 4.7 cm, width approx. 3.6 cm, thickness approx. 1.1 cm and weight approx. 33 grammes. The amulet is delivered with the original temple amulet box which is marked as follows: "Tieralueg Phra Phutta Ruupo Pang Thawai Net Sung 29 Sok (Pian Mang Ma) Wat Gernkathin, Amphoe Baan Mi, Changwat Lopburi, Pitthi Puttha Pisek 30-12-2550".

Ganesha (also Vinayaka, Ganapathi) which is called in Thailand Phra Pikkanet is the son of Shiva and Parvatis. Ganah comes from the Sanskrit and means diversity and Isha means lord, therefore, Ganesha is also called "lord of all beings".
Other names for Ganesha are Ekadanta (with the tusk), Vighneswara (destroyer of all obstacles), Varada (good giving) Sidhhita (donor of success at any work).
Ganesha is revered as a protector and divinity of the arts and apprenticeships. In particular intellectuals and students revere Ganesha! His special strength and his infinite knowledge make him an especially strong protection and luck bringer.
Among the Hindus it is one of the most honoured and mostly adored divinities. Also in Bangkok and other towns one can find to honour of Ganesha established shrines. These are visited daily by hundreds of believers, whom present to Ganesha joss sticks, floral wreaths, pork heads and other dishes to ask him for aid.
Luang Pho Pian was born on Sunday, the 2/5/2469 (1926) in Lopburi. His father Dao was a Cambodian and his mother Lek Thai. Luang Pho Pian had 2 brothers and 4 sisters. At the age of 21 years he went to the military in Lopburi which he left two years later.
He married and got 7 sons and 2 daughters with his wife. At the age of 50 years, in the 8/4/2519 (1976), he ordained in Wat Khampaeng, Amphoe Ban Mi, Changwat Lopburi. After some years he started to build Wat Gernkathin.
