Meed Moh protective amulet from the venerable Luang Pho Sangkang Khunnatharo (Phra Khru Paiboon Thammakit), abbot of Wat Khao Bang Heoi Chomphon Simaram, Ban Sap Mongkoln, Tambon Phoong Nok, Amphoer Thepsathid, Changwat Chaiyaphum, Thailand.
The venerable Luang Pho Sangkang created the Meed Moh in a small series of only 499 knives.
The blade was forged by hand from old holy metals (old Meed Mohs and amulets) and was engraved. On both sides there are Pali-protective formulae. The razor-shell which gleams cupreous and the clutch exist of the wood of a holy tree.
The Meed Moh with razor-shell has a total length of approx. 11 cm, a width of 1.2 cm, a thickness of approx. 0.7 cm and weighs only 11 grammes. The knife is not sharpened and neither is thought or suited to the cutting nor for the other activities for which one needs a knife!
One carries it in the breast pocket or lays it on the altar or at a central place in the flat or in the house. One can take it also in the glove compartment, in the act suitcase or in the handbag with onseself, provided that one practices a profession with which one is constantly exposed to negative energy or dangers.
The Meed Moh protects its wearer in attacks, misfortune, illness and accidents, as well as against bad ghosts, black magic, witchcraft, Voodoo, Visha Khameen, imprecations, negative energy and other magic methods which are directed against its owner.
Luang Pho Sangkang was born on Monday, the 3/26/2505 (1962) in the Ban Krabao Duea, Tambon Krawhan, Amphoer Khun Han, Changwat Sisaket, Thailand.
He is fifth from eight children of the married couples Mr. Kamphoong and Mrs. Suwan Wanthong. He has five brothers and two sisters.
At the age of 12 years he ordained in Wat Krabao Duea to the novice (Buat Naen), here 14 years later he also ordained to the monk (Buat Phra).
