Phra Rian Ruun Chalong Aju Kroob 50 Phansa Nuea Thong Daeng Rom Dam Thai amulet from the venerable Luang Pho Watchara Aekkawano, abbot of Wat Thamfad, Tambon Kao Noi, Amphoe Tha Muang, Changwat Kanchanaburi, Thailand, from the 4/15/2544 (2001).
Luang Pho Watchara created the amulet on the occasion of his 50th birthday in a numbered small series of only 2,999 amulets. Every amulet has an individual serial number, here the amulet with the number 469 of 2,999 is offered.
The smaller the serial number of the amulet, the more valuably it will become later. Particularly amulets whose serial numbers contain one or even better several times the number nine are desired , because the number nine is the lucky number par excellence. In Thailand horrific prices are paid for mobile phone numbers and car registration numbers which contain as often as possible the number nine.
The amulet shows the venerable Luang Pho Watchara on the front. At the back there is a cock, surrounded by magic Pali formulae and Yahnts for health, luck, prosperity and protection against illness and misfortune. The stroke on the edge is: "Luang Pho Watchara Aekkawano Wat Thamfad BE 2544 Chalong Aju Kroob 50 Phansa". At lower middle the serial number 469 is to be seen.
The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 4.9 cm, width approx. 3.0 cm, thickness approx. 1.2 cm and weight approx. 22 grammes.
The amulet gives health, luck and prosperity to its owner. It protects him against illness, misfortune and accident.
Luang Pho Watchara Ekawanno (Phra Bai Thieka Watchara Aekkawano) was born in the year of the rabbit, on Sunday, the 4/15/2494 (1951) in Bang Kae, Pasi Charoen, Bangkok, Thailand. After he finished successfully the high school, he studied business management and concluded his study successfully as a certificate accountant. He was occupied first in leading position in a big bank in Bangkok and married. His woman gave him three daughters who live today with his uncle.
Because his father fell hard ill and fought long time on the intensive care unit with his illness, Luang Pho Wachara ordained in the 7/1/2533 (1990) in Wat Thamfad to the monk. Originally he planned. to ordain for only 1 Phansa (year), so that the salaries acquired thereby (Bun) were of benefit for his father and his recovery, however, unfortunately, his father passed away as a result of his illness and Luang Pho Watchara decided to remain a monk and to dedicate the salaries to his mother who passed away 10 years later.
Luang Pho Watchara was Luug Sit (pupil) of the venerable Luang Pho Samlit Kampiero (Phra Khru Chan Toh), at that time the abbot of Wat Thamfad. This had founded and established Wat Thamfad in the year B.E.2500 (1957).
Luang Pho Wachara went as a Phra Thudong (forest monk and wanderings monk) on many years lasting wanderings during which he was a pupil of many great monks. Thus he spent 1 year together with the venerable Luang Pho Kanha, abbot of Wat Phrae Thammaram, in the province of Prae. This is the nephew of the dear and venerable Phra Ajahn Cha, in his lifetime abbot of Wat Nong Pah Pong, Ubon Ratchathani.
Then he went to Mae Hong Son (north Thailand) where he was during 1 year a pupil of the venerable Luang Pho Pawana Phut. From there he went to Nong Khai where he was instructed by the venerable Luang Pho Koong, abbot of Wat Pah Uthamporn.
Then he returned to Wat Thamfad to take a break there of the wanderings (Cham phansa). Luang Pho Watchara asked the venerable Luang Pho Samlit for permission to go once more on wanderings to learn even more. Nevertheless, this refused the approval to him and gave him the job to establish a 50-metre-high Mae Guan Yim Statue in the Wat Thamfad.
Then, in the year B.E. 2537 (1994) Luang Pho Watchara created his first amulet. Meanwhile his amulets which are valid as especially effective are hotly desired with believers, as well as with collectors. Luang Pho Watchara is very much known meanwhile not only in Thailand, but also in the USA, in Germany and Europe.
In the year B.E.2538 (1995) he went once again on wanderings and became a pupil of the venerable Luang Pho Sopa, abbot of Wat Nong Lao in Maha Sarakham.
In the 1/7/2539 (1996) he arranged the festivities for his teacher Luang Pho Samlit who committed his 73rd birthday on the one hand on this day and on the other hand the title "Phra Khru Chan Toh" was bestowed upon him by his majesty king Bhumibol of Thailand.
Only 28 days later, in the 2/4/2539 (1996), the venerable Luang Pho Samlit passed away. Luang Pho Watchara is the abbot Wat Thamfad since this day.
