Salika Khu Phim Chan Loi Thai amulet from the venerable Kruba Kritsana Intawano, abbot of Wat Pah Mahawan, Ban Thai Samakee, Tambon Thai Samakee, Amphoe Wang Nam Khiau, Changwat Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) Isan, north-east Thailand from the 8/1/2546 (2004).
Kruba Kritsana created this amulet series on the occasion of his 50th birthday from a holy powder whose composition is known only to him. The powder exists of 108 holy ingredients which give to the amulet a discreet scent which one can easily still smell after years.
The front shows the luck birds Salika Khu, which stand for luck and prosperity (literally: wealth). Over their heads there is the stroke "Kruba Kritsana", and between their heads the Yahn of Kruba Kritsana is to be seen. The amulet was hand-painted by the venerable Luang Phi Somwang (see photo). The colours come from Faber Castell and Rotring from Germany.
The amulet gives luck in the love and with the partner search. It leads lonesome hearts to each other which are destined for each other. With couple and married couples it should work in harmony on the relationship and strengthen the love as well as never let it end. It is also an amulet for everybody, who earns his money in the farthest sense with talking (selling), as for example shop assistants, services, representatives and businessmen. It generates a feeling of harmony, an amicable goodwill and attraction with the dialog partner what leads to the sales / completion of the contract. The amulet supports executives and those which would like to become this, to make fast career and to succeed in the job.
The amulet is in a silvery metal casing, height approx. 3.6 cm, width approx. 2.9 cm, thickness approx. 1.4 cm and weight approx. 10 grammes.
Kruba Kritsana was born in the 8/1/1954 (B.E.2497) as ninth from ten children. Already in youth he followed the venerable Kruba Pu, a forest monk (Tudong), as a novice, into the woods of Cambodia and Laos.
At the age of 25 years, Kruba Kritsana ordained in the 10/27/1979 (B.E.2522) and received the monk's name Intawano. Till 1989 (B.E.2532) he studied the holy texts and practiced meditation in the woods of the Isan. He lived in a cave above the Moonbon Dam in Khonburi.
In 1992 (B.E.2535) the inhabitants of Wang Nam Khiau asked the venerable Phra Kruba Kritsana to found a temple municipality.
Kruba Kritsana fulfilled this wish and built Wat Pah Mahawan in Wang Nam Khiau. On the temple area a pond was also dug up. The first amulets of Kruba Kritsana were produced of the holy earth of the pond personally.
