Phra Pong Rama 5 Lang Narai Trong Krut Thai amulet from the venerable Chao Khun Thongchai, abbot of Wat Traimit Witthayaram, Charoenkrung Road, Khet Sampan Thawong, Bangkok, Thailand and from the venerable Phra Khru Sophit Thamma Sathid, abbot of Wat Laem Kae, Ban Laem Kae, Tambon Na Pradu, Amphoe Phan Thong, Changwat Chonburi, Thailand from the year B.E. 2536 (1994).
This amulet is the second amulet which the venerable Chao Khun Thongchai (also Chao Khun Thong Chai) made an incomparable precious object. As already in the year before, the venerable Chao Khun Thongchai created an amulet series from 108 holy ingredients and consecrated it in front of the golden Buddha in the Wat Traimit. Afterwards he let consecrate the amulets in all four cardinal directions of Thailand by the most famous monks.
He created the amulet to support with it the construction of a new school building for the Laem Kae elementary school which he attended as a child himself.
First the amulets were brought for the consecration to the venerable Luang Pho Kasem Kemmako to the Wat Boon Yün, Tambon Wiang Nüa, Amphoe Mueang, Changwat Lampang, in north Thailand.
From there it went further to east Thailand, to the Wat Phra That Panom, Amphoe Mueang, Changwat Nakhon Panom where the amulets were consecrated by the venerable Luang Pho Koon Parisuttho, abbot of Wat Banrai.
Then the amulets were brought into the west to the Wat Naa Phra Mai Ru in the province of Ayutthaya where already the dear Luang Pho Pern, in his lifetime abbot of Wat Bang Phra, the venerable Luang Pho Dschoi, in his lifetime abbot of Wat Sri Uthumporn and the venerable Luang Pho Chuea, in his lifetime abbot of Wat Nong Thong, waited for the amulets to consecrate them.
Afterwards the amulets wayfared to south Thailand to the Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat (briefly Wat Mahathat), Amphoe Mueang, Changwat Nakhon Sri Thammrat where they were consecrated by the venerable Luang Pho Nong (a nephew of the legendary Luang Pho Derm). From there the amulets were brought to their destination, the Wat Laem Kae in Chonburi where the more than 2,000-kilometres trip ended.
The amulet shows his majesty king Chulalongkorn Rama V of Siam on the front.
The back shows Rahoo Om Dschan, the world guard who holds the moon firmly embraced. On him there sits the messenger of the gods, Garuda (Thai: Krut), a being half an eagle half a person. On this the angel Jatukam Ramathep sits enthroned.
The stroke on the edge is "Piya Maha Racha Wat Laem Kae 2536".
The Rahoo Om Dschan gives to his owner strength, charisma, creativity and mental strength. He protects his owner against attacks, misfortune, illness and accidents, as well as against bad ghosts, black magic, witchcraft, Voodoo, Visha Khameen, imprecations, negative energy and other magic methods which are directed against its owner. The Rahoo Om Dschan gives luck, prosperity and a good life without need. Moreover, he should protect the house / the flat of the owner against misfortune and against all negative (e.g., burglar, earthquake, floods, fires etc.), as well as against ghosts, magic and negative energy.
Garuda is also the riding animal of Vishnu, the son of Kasyhapa and Vinata. He is the messenger of the gods who delivers the messages, warnings and instructions of them to the people. He protects the wearer of the amulet against danger, accidents as well as against misfortune and averts all dangers.
The angel Jatukam Ramathep protects its wearer against illness, misfortune and need. It should give to him luck, a good and long life, as well as prosperity (literally: silver and gold).
