Ajahn Meng was already born with unusual abilities and counts as the Ajahn par excellence for highly actual man's amulets and protective amulets in Bangkok. He produces his amulets in small series after centuries-old confidential rituals and ceremonies himself.
To the production of the Meed Mohs Ajahn Meng used, among the rest, Takrut Mahaprap, Pong Ya Laang, Athan 9 Khon, Kee Lek Lai, Phet NahThang, Pong Daeng Baromma Khru and Chai Chiwoon Kruba Ajahn. It was created completely handmade and from holy metals. Clutch and razor-shell exist of a rare fine wood which only exists in the woods of Thailand. The fittings exist of German silver and copper. In the blade Ajahn Meng has scratched protective formulae and his Yahn. In the clutch there is the Chinese character for Meng. It is approx. 12.8 cms long with scabbard, approx. 1.5 cms wide, approx. 1.0 cms thick and approx. 20 grams .
The Meed Moh protects against dark magic, Voodoo, witchcraft, imprecations, ghosts, as well as against negative energy, evil, accidents and other magic methods which are directed against its owner. It is a very strong protective amulet which one carries either with oneself or deposits it at an exposed place at home. Ajahn Meng is a very mysterious monk who already began at the tender age of 14 years with Ajahn Chalaem in Bangkok with his education. At the age of 20 years he asked Luang Tia (Phra Surapong Pong-Sing), the Chinese abbot of Wat Klangna for instruction in the Buddhist magic. Later he learned from the famous Luang Pho Noi, abbot of Wat Sam Thai and from the venerable Luang Pho Mee, abbot of Wat Marnvichai in Ayutthaya, who both belonged to the great masters of the Visha and Visha Khameen. Afterwards he went for several years to Burma to learn from the famous Ajahn Saya Guai about the creation of highly efficient love-amulets for men.
